Philanthropy Events

Alpha Kappa believes in the motto that our Founder's set, which is "Do Good". We host a philanthropy week each semester, hosted by the vp:foundation. In the 2023-2024 school year, we hosted a pancake feed, a bake sale, blindfolded house tours, trivia, along with dress a DG and dodge a DG. 

The goal of our philanthropy week is to raise money for the Delta Gamma Foundation along with other local organizations that share the same "Service for Sight" motto. In the past, we have donated to the Kansas Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, along with the Kansas State School for the Blind and Envision. We try to raise money while also learning to advocate and bringing awareness to visual impairments.
